EXHIBITIONS
Each time an exhibition opportunity rolls around I panic, display and exhibiting has long been the downfall for my work but recently I have been experimenting with displaying and exhibiting the same works in different ways to get an understanding of how the audience might interact, and generally thinking in more depth about the idea of exhibition to convey my themes.
ALIVE

2019
'Alive' uses the unique space of st. johns church in Kingston upon Thames to bring together a range of art, illustration and performance. For this exhibition, I showcased a series of three crocheted bags created from single-use plastic, suspended in a triptych with invisible thread to give them an exciting presence and allowing the viewer to see the works from 360 degrees.
COMING AND GOING
February 20
2019
Coming and going plays on the words making and showing, a group exhibition in the platform gallery in Knights park foyer, curated to display a vast range of work in exciting ways to contrast and compliment. For this exhibition, I wanted to create an emphasis on the themes of process and craft so displayed crocheted bags on a raw wood coat peg. Allowing the two elements of craft to mimic one another.
